Parsley Builders has been helping homeowners build lasting investments in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metropolitan area for over fifty years. We have the experience to build virtually any request to fit any lifestyle, from ramblers to high-end estates. Every project is custom built and blends the ‘old school’ craftsmanship of hand cutting, hand framing with the appropriate use of new technology and material. Rarely will we use ‘prefab’ materials and lumber in your remodeling project.
Your core project team includes Tom Gunderson—craftsmen/site manager, Hal Herald—craftsmen—crew manager, Steve Parsley Project manager/Owner and Shreve Parsley—office manager.
Our services have evolved over the years with the ever-changing needs of our customers. Lifestyles have changed, so has the way we communicate with our customers, subcontractors and suppliers. One constant has been our customer’s desire for timely, up-to-date information.
Today, our customer-centered approach continues with our proactive step-by-step project development and construction management process located on our interactive web site’s Customer Project Center.
Since our inception in 1952, we’ve worked hard to create strong, lasting relationships with our customers, subcontractors, the community and familiar product manufacturers like Pella Windows®. During our journey, we’ve accumulated a wealth of experience and know-how to give you trusted advice and insightful recommendations on your unique project requirements.

Flexible Working Relationship Options
Over the years we’ve found no two projects are the same. We recognize that sometimes homeowners can and want to manage more of the details of the construction process. So we’ve built flexibility into the way we work with you. We can effectively manage the entire project for you in a timely fashion from start to finish or be contracted to complete specific tasks within the project.
The backbone of our company is the unmatched ability of our construction staff. They are seasoned managers, carpenters and craftsmen who deliver daily on our promise of innovative construction techniques and solid craftsmanship. Their knowledge and experience makes a big impact on the quality and speed of your construction project. Every remodeling project is custom built, custom made to your expectations. We combine the best of ‘old school’ traditional hand cutting and cabinetry methods with the latest in building and design technology. Our know-how can solve the most vexing construction challenges without long delays and spiraling, unexpected construction costs.
We work with veteran tradesmen and subcont
ractors with every facet of your construction project. Most of our key relationships for plumbing, electrical and heating span over 20 years.
